As a performer/accompanist, Jennifer has played for numerous theatre productions over the last 18 years. She was the Accompanist and Director’s Assistant for the Ingersoll Choral Society for 9 years and Collaborative Pianist for the Rapport Singers of North Bay for 4 years. She has also accompanied solo performers for recitals, examinations, music festival and provincial competitions.
Jennifer has extensive experience in playing for weddings and funerals and she enjoys bringing a personal touch to both joyful and solemn rites of passage in this life.
Jennifer's love of music has led her more recently into speaking engagements and workshops, sharing her experience with music education and joy of music. She also enjoyed teaching a 10 week music club for children with Autism.
Jennifer’s passion for music and worship plays a large role in her life. Her ability to play and create music in a variety of worship styles has put her in demand as a church worship leader. In her early teens, she played for a (new at the time) contemporary worship service at her church. She completed one year of formal organ training under Dutch organist John Boone when she was 19 years old and fell in in love with the grand sounds of a pipe organ. Jennifer has been leading congregations, choirs and musicians for the last 20+ years. Currently, she actively serves as the Music Leader at Beth Aviad Messianic Congregation.
