
Jennifer Levitan (ARCT, RMT, MYCC) is a passionate teacher, worship leader, and performer. From an early age, she demonstrated a strong interest and creative sensibility on the piano and began taking lessons when she was 6 years old. Jennifer received her Associate Diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory in Toronto at the age of 18. Jennifer opened her own studio and began teaching piano and theory privately in 1998. After moving to North Bay in 2007, she acquired her Music for Young Children teaching certification and began teaching group classes in addition to her roster of private students. Jennifer is an active member of the Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Association and has held treasurer, secretary, president and various sub-committee positions for the North Bay branch.
As a performer/accompanist, Jennifer has played for numerous theatre productions over the last two decades. She was the accompanist and Director’s Assistant for the Ingersoll Choral Society and Collaborative Pianist for the Rapport Singers of North Bay. Jennifer has also served as Music & Choir Director for numerous faith communities over the last 25 years.
In addition to music, Jennifer graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2018 and works part time as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant working with clients to provide guidance on balancing life through lifestyle and food changes. Jennifer continues to pursue her passion in health and has been accepted to the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy as of September 2021.
